Differentiate was started by two Bavarian International School alumni. We think the best person to explain a Paper 3 question is someone who answered it two years ago, on the syllabus you are studying now.
What Differentiate does
Differentiate runs the platform. The tutoring is provided by independent tutors who set their own availability and teach in their own way. When you book, the tutoring contract is between you and that tutor; Differentiate collects the payment on their behalf and takes a commission from them for running the platform.
What we check
Every tutor scored a 7 in the subject they teach, on the current syllabus. We verify the result before the profile goes live, and we run a 20-minute interview where the tutor explains one past-paper question. Scores on a profile are checked, not claimed.
One exception: a 6 at higher level, when the tutor studies that subject at university or has shown the same depth another way. Every profile shows the real grade.
How sessions work
Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes, one student and one tutor, over Google Meet. You pay per session or from your hour balance. After every session the tutor sends a progress update, the session file, and homework where it helps.
Where we are
Everything happens online, and tutors on Differentiate study across Europe and North America. That spread is deliberate: it means there is usually someone free in your evening.
